TOWN HALL/INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS SCHEDULED ALL OVER MN - The Alliance for Licensing Massage Therapists (ALMT) is pleased to announce a series of Town Hall/Informational Meetings all across the great state of Minnesota. Please click THIS LINK to go to the ALMT website and see the list of cities, dates and times, and to mark your calendar to attend one of our many meetings in the coming weeks. As new meetings are scheduled, we will add them to the site, and these meetings are open to any and all. The only thing we ask is that you come with an open mind and a spirit of candor and good will. The meeting will include a presentation from the ALMT Chair, Jeremy Miller which will last 35-40 minutes and then there will be time for Q&A, with the whole meeting wrapping up in about an hour. Topics will include the current state of regulations governing Massage Therapy in MN, what the proposed legislation would mean (and just as importantly what it would not mean), as well as simple and time-friendly ways you can help with the Licensure effort. LEGISLATIVE SURVEY CLOSES FRIDAY, 31OCT2008 AT 11:59PM - There are still a few days left to express your opinions in a survey that will help put the finishing touches on our legislative draft.
