Massage Warehouse Welcomes Sanctuary Volunteers at FSMTA

The annual Florida State Massage Therapy Association National Massage Convention and Trade Show is fast approaching—June 20–25, 2017, in Orlando, Florida.

At the trade show floor, Massage Warehouse is hosting its bodywork Sanctuary, where attendees can get 10-minute foot treatments in exchange for a donation. They’re looking for individuals interested in volunteering for a few hours. And, of course, all are welcome to come take advantage of the treatments as well.

This year’s Sanctuary proceeds will benefit Tiffany Field, PhD’s Touch Research Institute at the University of Miami. Since founding the institute in 1992, Field has conducted more than 100 studies on the therapeutic effects of massage therapy on infants.

If you’re interested in volunteering, come by Massage Warehouse booth (#200), check in with Angie Patrick, and sign up for a shift. Or email her at apatrick@massagewarehouse.com.
