Texas Withdraws Credit Hour Provision for New Human Trafficking Prevention Course

In our last email, ABMP informed you that the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (Commission) now requires a human trafficking prevention training course as a provision of license renewal beginning April 1, 2021.

However, in an April 5, 2021, email, the Commission communicated that they withdrew the provision that this new CE requirement be no more than three credit hours per license term. We are unsure at this time how many credit hours will be allotted to this course, but it does remain a requirement.

Here is a list of approved human trafficking prevention courses to help you start earning your continuing education.
