The New Mexico Massage Therapy Board (Board) met on June 15, 2021. The Board determined at this meeting that massage therapists will be required to complete eight hours of live continuing education units—including CPR—and eight hours of online continuing education units moving forward. This is a return to the provisions required by New Mexico massage therapists prior to COVID-19 and will immediately affect members renewing licenses by October 2021.
