Georgia Board of Massage Therapy Seeking One Board Member

There is one vacant seat on the Georgia Board of Massage Therapy (Board) for a Georgia licensed massage therapist (LMT). If you are interested in serving as a Board member, ABMP encourages eligible members to consider applying for an appointment, since it’s also a way to become more engaged in the profession.

Am I Qualified?
If you’re a Georgia resident, hold an active Georgia massage therapy license, and are an LMT with at least five years of massage therapy experience, you can apply for an appointment. This is an opportunity to learn about various functions of state government and lend your experience and talent to the massage therapy community.

How Do I Apply?
Board members are appointed by Governor Brian Kemp. Visit the official website of the Georgia Office of the Governor and follow the application prompts.
