IJTMB Section Editor Opening

The International Journal of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (IJTMB), a Massage Therapy Foundation (MTF) publication, has an opening for a Practice & Education section editor. This person should be knowledgeable about practice and education in therapeutic massage and bodywork, as well as an author of research and/or case reports. The Practice & Education section receives manuscripts of research, case reports, and position articles meant to develop conversation in topics relevant to the education and practice of therapeutic massage and bodywork.

Duties include:

• Supervision of manuscript submissions through the various sequential steps of the Open Journal System (OJS) process.

• Providing direction and support for authors based on the peer-review process.

• Helping maintain and increase the journal’s roster of authors and reviewers.

• Participation in refining the journal’s policies, processes, and infrastructure through feedback to the editorial board and participation in quarterly meetings.

Expected workload is approximately six hours per week, although workload is a function of manuscript submissions received.

Section editors are offered an honorarium for their work and free registration for all MTF research conferences.

If interested, please submit a resume and cover letter to Gini Ohlson at gohlson@massagetherapyfoundation.org.
