Begin with a review of immune system function, and then learn the definitions, demographics, pathophysiology, signs and symptoms, treatment options, and role of massage therapy for herpes simplex, herpes zoster, and bacterial infections of the skin (including MRSA).

Protect your practice by staying informed about the risks presented to you and your clients by contagious diseases. Learn the definitions, demographics, pathophysiology, signs and symptoms, treatment options, and role of massage therapy for contagious diseases that are especially relevant to massage therapists, including HIV/AIDS; hepatitis A, B, and C; and respiratory infections including colds, influenza, and COVID-19.
These courses are available in the ABMP Education Center to view and earn CE hours.
