Cancellation of the 2020 World Massage Festival

The 2020 World Massage Festival (WMF) scheduled for July in Michigan City, Indiana, has been canceled over COVID-19 concerns. The WMF is transferring registrations to the 2021 festival. The 2020 American Massage Championships, that were to be held in conjunction with the 2020 World Massage Festival, are also canceled.

In an announcement to festival vendors, the organizers wrote:

“The risk of community transference of the disease is just too great to ignore. Too many of our Family are immunocompromised, many are over the age of 60, and all are exposed to a lot of people in their everyday lives. We will not put the lives of our WMF Family on the line like that. It is our hope that the early notification will allow you to book other shows instead.”
