Books of Discovery Makes COVID-19 Resource from Ruth Werner Available

Books of Discovery and Ruth Werner have made a digital addendum to the textbook A Massage Therapist's Guide to Pathology available for free to the profession at https://booksofdiscovery.com/what-is-new/#COVID. This resource provides a comprehensive clinical and pathological examination of COVID-19 written by Werner.

"We're all trying to wrap our heads around where massage therapy fits with COVID-19, an infection with a novel virus that has serious, often fatal repercussions for many people," says Werner. "In this addendum, I organize what we know about the SARS-CoV-2 virus and its many complications in a format that is easy to use and accessible. This information changes frequently, but what you'll find here is a good synopsis of what we currently understand, with an emphasis on clinical decision-making for massage therapists. I am especially grateful to Books of Discovery for making this download free to everyone."

Werner also recently wrote an update for ABMP Pocket Pathology on COVID-19, which is available for members within the app at https://www.abmp.com/members/pocket-pathology/pathology/covid-19. ABMP Pocket Pathology was developed in partnership with Ruth Wenrer and Books of Discovery to give massage therapists and bodyworkers the information you need to make the most appropriate treatment decisions for your clients who live with health challenges.
