What is your path? Take this value assessment quiz!

The career options and opportunities for massage therapists are endless: you can set up shop and work for yourself, work in a hospital or other medical setting, work with sports teams or athletes, work as an employee in a spa or franchise—the list goes on.

To help you determine the career you may be best suited for, take this value assessment quiz from ABMP’s Successful Practice Handbook, available at www.abmp.com. Consider the various categories in the exercise, and assign a number value of 1, 2, or 3 in the space provided. When finished, identify your most important values and consider them when you write your career plan.

Also, be sure to read "Dream Bigger" in the September/October 2018 issue of Massage & Bodywork about an alternative career path many MTs may not be aware of.
