MINDBODY Wellness Index Report for ABMP Members

The following post is sponsored by MINDBODY.

MINDBODY is proud to connect the ABMP network to their Wellness Index report.

Which US city has the strongest wellness market? How can wellness businesses better help consumers lead healthier lives?

The MINDBODY Wellness Index answers these questions and more through a composite, quantitative measurement of the strength of wellness marketplaces. It incorporates the supply side, or business success factors, for fitness, beauty, and integrative health service businesses, and the demand side, or consumer health behaviors and attitudes. The MINDBODY Wellness Index calculates and ranks the overall strength of the top 50 metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs) in the US using a scale ranging from zero to 100, with zero denoting the weakest wellness market and 100 denoting the strongest market.

This report includes:

  • The complete MINDBODY Wellness Index rankings of the top 50 MSAs and see where your local market ranks
  • Insight into why Austin-Round Rock, Texas, is the strongest wellness market in America
  • Details on consumer attitudes and behavior, including which areas score highest and lowest in prioritization of fitness, frequency of exercise, smoking, having close relationships, amount of sleep, and more
