Massage & Bodywork Wins Folio Award for Best Full Issue

Folio recently announced the winners of the 2018 Folio Eddie and Ozzie Awards at the Folio: Show in New York. The March/April 2018 issue of Massage & Bodywork magazine took home the award for Best Full Issue (Association).

As the publisher of Massage & Bodywork, Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) is honored to be recognized for this prestigious award.

“We are particularly proud of this issue because it addresses touch for frail and elderly clients,” said Darren Buford, editor-in-chief. “From helping our readers learn how to build a practice for this clientele to the status of hospice massage to the particularly poignant piece by Lauren Cates titled ‘Death, Dying, and the Breakability of Us All,’ we hope that our readers are able to connect with this very important demographic.”

For more than 20 years, the Eddie & Ozzie Awards have recognized excellence in magazine editorial and design across all sectors of the industry. Folio’s cornerstone awards program returned to the 2018 Folio: Show, where 350+ magazine media executives gathered to celebrate the very best in stunning design and uncompromising journalism.

A panel of more than 300 judges narrowed more than 2,500 entries into a pool of roughly 800 finalists. In total, 263 awards were given out across 33 categories.
