07/02/2026

On July 1, Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa announced the new appointment of Carrie Walsh as Chief Executive Officer. Walsh brings extensive experience in leading consumer and franchise brands, like Michaels, PepsiCo, and Pizza Hut. Most recently, she served as interim CEO for Subway, where she was responsible for the continued development, profitability, and growth of the brand across more than 6,000 Subway locations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Known for her customer-first approach, Walsh has helped some of the world’s most recognizable brands strengthen their businesses. “I’ve always been drawn to brands that have a positive impact on people’s everyday lives, which is one of the many reasons Hand & Stone immediately resonated with me,” Walsh says.

“The brand has built something truly special, with a loyal membership base, a dedicated network of franchise owners and a strong reputation. I’m honored to join the team.”

According to the press release announcing Walsh’s appointment, Walsh is joining Hand & Stone at a time of big momentum for the franchise and brings a wealth of experience in marketing, operational leadership, and brand-building expertise. Todd Leff, who has been serving as Hand & Stone interim CEO, will assist Walsh in the transition and remain on as Chairman of the Board.
