GSN Planet Launches COVID-19 Sustainability Guide

GSN Planet (GSN) has launched a COVID-19 Sustainability Guide in response to the recent pandemic. The guide was written by GSN’s Sustainability Task Force and is available to the entire wellness industry.

This simplified guide provides inspiration and practical options for businesses and practitioners to evolve during a pandemic that is focused on products and services that are eco-friendly and offer alternative revenue streams. The ultimate goal of this guide is to help those within the spa and wellness industry to make well-informed, environmentally- and socially-conscious decisions.

Natasha Prybyla, member of the GSN Board and owner of Sloco Health + Wellness in San Luis Obispo, California, hopes the guide helps inspire businesses and individuals to become conscious consumers.

“Especially during a time when businesses are in survival mode, it’s hard to think about sustainability,” Prybyla says. “We wanted to help provide guidance so that decision makers know what to take into consideration when marking purchases, when it comes to the health and wellness of their employees and the earth. At GSN Planet, we believe that both personal and planetary wellness go hand in hand.”

GSN and the Sustainability Task Force believe spas are perfectly positioned to become the new wellness headquarters for a broader market and sustainable practices are the pathway to get there offering new experiences and products that lead us all, including mother earth, into wellness.
