The new ABMP CE course, “Palpating the Hip Flexors,” is available in the ABMP Education Center to view and earn 1 CE hour.

Learn to accurately palpate the hip flexor muscles to ensure you’re providing targeted treatment in this commonly tight area that can lead to multiple issues in the body. This comprehensive course from Dr. Joe Muscolino teaches two palpation strategies for 12 hip flexor muscles in the flexor and extensor compartments of the thigh. When you can confidently palpate each muscle in the region to accurately identify the problems, you’re able to create a targeted treatment plan that leads to successful sessions!

This course pairs with an article by Muscolino, “Palpating the Anterior Hip,” in the January-February 2024 issue of Massage & Bodywork magazine.
