Join us at the Villanova University Hotel and Conference Center—situated on a beautiful wooded estate on Philadelphia’s famous “Main Line”—for an ABMP School Forum that balances a little bit of tradition with a lot of fun!

Cost to Attend: $199.00 per person. Includes 7 hours of continuing education.
 
Cancellation Policy: Attendees providing notification of cancellation 30 days prior to the event date will receive a full refund. Within 30 days of the event, a refund is provided, minus a $50 administrative fee.
 
Getting there: Attendees flying to Philadelphia will use Philadelphia International Airport. Transportation from the airport to the Villanova University Hotel is provided by taxi for approximately $60 or through Lady Liberty Shuttles for approximately $50 (215-724-8888).
 
Special School Forum Room Rate: A room block has been reserved for this event at a special rate of $129.00 per night.  It is available on a first come, first served basis.  Call-in reservations only.  Ask for the ABMP room block.

1:30 p.m.–2:30 p.m: Session 1: Keynote—Strengthening the Cornerstones for School Success
All schools face the same basic challenges. Join ABMP for this special keynote that sets the stage for sessions and activities that help us strengthen the very foundation of education and of our educational businesses.
 
2:30 p.m.–3:00 p.m: Break
 
3:00 p.m.–4:30 p.m: Session 2: Onboarding New Teachers—Methods that Work!
A well-structured onboarding process improves student outcomes, increases instructor effectiveness, ensures stronger classroom management skills, and decreases the stress levels of new teachers, other faculty, school directors, and … well, everyone!
 
4:30 p.m.–5:00 p.m: From the Floor!
We’ll facilitate 30 minutes of questions and comments from the floor before we gather for the ABMP reception. We’ll have plenty of thoughts and ideas to discuss as we share drinks and appetizers.
 
5:00 p.m.–6:30 p.m: ABMP School Forum Reception
Join us at the ABMP reception and connect with colleagues from across the country while enjoying a variety of delicious food choices.
 
DAY 2

9:00 a.m.–10:30 a.m: Session 3: Seats in Seats—From First Meeting to First Day of Classes
Well done! You’ve attracted their interest and got them through the front door for a first admissions meeting. Now, how do you get students enrolled, prepared for the challenge of classes, excited, and seated in class on the first day of school? 
 
10:30 a.m.–11:00 a.m: Break
 
11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m: Session 4: Students Who Fail the MBLEx—Get them Back on Track
Approximately 29 percent of MBLEx takers don’t pass on the first try. This session looks at best practices for supporting students as they prepare for the MBLEx so they pass on the first try, and ways to get them back on track when they don’t!
 
12:30 p.m.–1:30 p.m: Lunch
 
1:30 p.m.–3:00 p.m: Session 5: Your Voice–Our Future
The final session at the ABMP School Forum is a facilitated discussion that focuses on your individual needs and challenges. We are always striving to provide a better experience for schools, administrators, instructors, and students. We want to hear from you.
