I appreciate feedback from my clients, whether it’s good or about something they didn’t care for. If there’s something I didn’t do correctly or I didn’t meet their expectations, I would like to know. Also, if my massage technique doesn’t work for them, I could send them to a therapist who might be a better fit.

[When] my clients value my time. They offer to pay for last-minute cancellations without me asking.

When my clients recommend me to their friends or on social media. It makes me happy that they think enough of me and my work to want to share.

Every so often, you get a client who seems to be there to remind you that you are doing what you’re supposed to be doing, and that is an amazing experience.

FEEDBACK!

When clients trust and align with my approach, pace, pressure, etc. A warm smile, eye contact, and thank- you from a sincere, embodied place speaks volumes of value
to me.

Witnessing [clients’] improvement and joy after a session and [them] rebooking. [Also] amazing reviews and feedback.

I love when clients tell me they are grateful to have me as part of their care team.

When clients trust me enough to allow me to treat issues that may come with a feeling of vulnerability.

When my clients understand that massage is vulnerable for both client and practitioner and know I’ll do everything to keep them safe and comfortable, and [when] it’s reciprocated.

Clients who respect boundaries.

When a client has never had a massage/doesn’t think massage will be beneficial, and they leave saying how amazing they feel and [how] they never knew massage could be so helpful. I feel so proud of my hard work when I’m able to give someone a great first impression on the beauty of massage therapy.
