[What's on the Web]

Practicing bodywork can sometimes be a solitary proposition. While you work with clients all day, you may not necessarily have the social opportunities that an office provides.

Even if you are in an office, online networking can allow you to reach out to your colleagues on your own terms and at your own convenience. That’s why ABMP created Massageprofessionals.com, to give practitioners a forum separate from your personal social media endeavors like Facebook. On Massageprofessionals.com, you can chat about business opportunities, marketing ideas, techniques, success stories, continuing education classes—you name it. And if you don’t see the topic you’re looking for, add it.

While the network is powered by ABMP, it is intentionally “non-partisan” and open to anyone in the profession. ABMP feels strongly that practitioner-to-practitioner communication is key to building a successful—and enjoyable—practice.

If you haven’t already, visit www.massageprofessionals.com, sign up, and join the conversation.
