Q. “So, my massage session has ended. Now what?”
A. After our massage or bodywork session ends, we re-enter the real world, refreshed and invigorated. Try these tips to help prolong the incredible postsession feeling:
• Check in with your body before you dive back into your to-do list. Does it feel different than before? How about your stress level? Schedule your next session now so you can feel this way again sooner than later.
• Use this session as a jump-start to healthy living: eat nourishing food, hydrate, and give yourself extra time to sleep.

Q. “What should I look for
when buying sunscreen?”
A. Look for the words broad spectrum protection—this means the sunscreen protects the skin from both ultraviolet A (UVA) and ultraviolet B (UVB) rays. UVA rays damage the deeper dermal tissues and are responsible for premature aging, including wrinkles, sagging, and many pigment issues, as well as melanoma. UVB rays damage the outer skin layers, causing sunburns and skin cancers.
When it comes to the SPF rating, most dermatologists believe sunscreens should have an SPF of at least 15— and be reapplied frequently while in the sun—to be effective in preventing long-term skin damage.
