Video Course: Aging Essentials

Ruth Werner

What really happens inside our bodies as we age—and can we influence the process? Explore the science of aging, how changes within our cells influence health over time, and strategies supported by research that may help support healthy aging and vitality. Learn how age-related cellular changes contribute to some of today’s most common health challenges—including Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and stroke—and accommodations massage therapists may need to make for older adults. Through accessible science and real-world insights, this course empowers you to better understand the aging process and the factors that influence long-term brain and body health.
