The California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) published its meeting agenda, confirming CAMTC may be voting on a fee increase (page 2, item 19). There is still no indication as to how much of an increase CAMTC may be considering. The meeting will be held November 29, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. PST. ABMP, which first reported about the possible fee increase in October, encourages you to review the Board Packet available here.
Your attendance at this meeting is an opportunity to learn about the potential fee increase and to testify in support of, or in opposition to, it. The meeting is scheduled to take place at:

If you cannot attend the meeting, you still have time to email CAMTC at info@camtc.org to voice your opinion regarding the potential fee increase. Email CAMTC as soon as possible before the meeting so your comments will be accepted. ABMP has drafted suggested language you can use to help make this process easy, but feel free to alter the text so it represents your personal experience. In your email, make sure to request that your comments be entered into the record and the Board Packet.
