On Wednesday, August 25, massage therapists and bodyworkers can join us live in our virtual classroom for the brand-new course "Blood Clots: Causes, Concerns, and Considerations" with Ruth Werner. The interactive experience is free for ABMP members and $15 for nonmembers, and includes live event access, your CE certificate, and ongoing access to the course in the ABMP Education Center.

Course description:

This interactive conversation covers the pathophysiology of thrombosis, with an emphasis on practical applications in clinical decision-making. About the Presenter:

Ruth Werner is a former massage therapist, a writer, and an NCBTMB-approved continuing education provider. She wrote A Massage Therapist's Guide to Pathology, now in its seventh edition, which is used in massage schools worldwide. Werner is also a long-time Massage & Bodywork columnist, most notably of the Pathology Perspectives column. Werner is also ABMP’s partner on Pocket Pathology, a web-based app and quick reference program that puts key information for nearly 200 common pathologies at your fingertips. Werner’s books are available at www.booksofdiscovery.com. ABMP CE Socials bring attendees together to watch the course on our live event platform with the opportunity to interact and ask questions to the presenter, and after the course we transition to a live, interactive Q&A session with the presenter.
