Nancy Keeney Smith is an author, researcher, licensed massage therapist, certified lymph drainage therapist, and a Florida and NCBTMB provider of scar management workshops for over 19 years. She co-authored Traumatic Scar Tissue Management-Massage Therapy Principles, Practice and Protocols (Handspring, 2016) and is a chapter contributor in Integrative Pain Management (Handspring, 2018), Fascia, Function and Medical Applications (CRC Press, 2020), and Oncology Massage: An Integrative Approach to Cancer Care for Manual Therapists (Handspring 2020). Cathy Ryan

Cathy Ryan is a CMTBC registered massage therapist with an interest in patient-centered care, evidence-informed practices, and life-long learning. She has engaged in the profession in a variety of clinical, educational and leadership capacities over the past 30-plus years. An established continuing education instructor, Cathy has presented at conferences internationally in the areas of scar tissue management and myofascial pain and dysfunction, which also constitute her clinical practice focus. She has written numerous articles featured in various industry publications, co-authored Traumatic Scar Tissue Management-Massage Therapy Principles, Practice and Protocols (Handspring 2016), and is a chapter contributor in Fascia, Function and Medical Applications (CRC Press, 2020) and Oncology Massage: An Integrative Approach to Cancer Care for Manual Therapists (Handspring, 2020).
