Melissa Wheeler

Palpation is a fundamental skill for a massage therapist. When this vital skill is mastered, it allows students to learn their modality skills with confidence and ease and makes the instructor’s job easier. In this presentation, educators will learn the importance of palpation in the classroom and beyond, how to present unique ideas for teaching palpatory anatomy to students using different learning styles, Trail Guide to the Body tools and technology, and how to use this presentation as a platform for participants to share the exercises or resources that have been successful for them in palpation education.
