Video Course: Cornerstones 2: The Place to Start

Cindy Williams

This prerequisite course in Cornerstones: The ABMP Instructor Development Program offers a brief look into the science of learning, as well as a preparatory overview of cognitive, psychomotor, affective, and interpersonal learning domains, including explanations as to why these are so important for the growth and development of massage educators and their students. This course also includes an important Entry-Level Analysis Project (ELAP) overview. Since the Cornerstones program uses ELAP and the ELAP Learning Taxonomy as the foundation of our approach to teaching this material to instructors, it is important the learner be knowledgeable about why and how it was researched and developed, and why it is woven throughout this content. This second course in the Cornerstones program also offers a recommended learning path through this library of content-rich instructor courses, with the goal of concepts building upon each other progressively for the learner.
