M&B Magazine: 2023, Issue 3: Massage & Bodywork Magazine May-June 2023

Magazine Authors

Massage & Bodywork magazine promotes professionalism among practitioners and stimulates healthy dialogue about the field, while remaining mindful of the breadth of bodywork backgrounds, beliefs, and modalities. In this issue, we explore origin, insertion, and joint action terminology and whether it is actually obscuring the simplicity of muscle function. Other topics include information on the Attention Button for client and MT safety, lower crossed syndrome, lumbar disc and myofascial pain, a deep dive into arthrofibrosis and massage, percussion therapy for self-care, learning ways to keep business and personal life separate, and suggestions for making the neurodivergent client’s massage experience more enjoyable.

The May-June 2023 issue of Massage & Bodywork magazine features contributions from various authors including Laura Allen, Ben Benjamin, Cal Cates, Rachelle Clauson, Erik Dalton, Allison Denney, Chelle Doetsch, Allissa Haines, Lance Hostetter, David Lesondak, Whitney Lowe, Til Luchau, Joe Muscolino, Douglas Nelson, Cynthia Price, Heath and Nicole Reed, Michael Reynolds, Nicole Trombley, Ruth Werner, and Cindy Williams.
