Douglas Nelson of NMT Midwest will assess the muscles of the hip, looking closely at muscular issues as well as the effect of hip pathology on joint function. He’ll then address conditions such as piriformis syndrome, knee pain, hamstring strains, plantar fascitis, and other common lower extremity pain patterns. This webinar will provide practical applications to conditions commonly seen in everyday practice.
 
Douglas Nelson has been a massage therapist for more than 38 years and is the president of BodyWork Associates, a massage therapy clinic in Champaign, Illinois. His teaching institute, NMT MidWest, Inc., provides trainings in Precision Neuromuscular Therapy. He is a columnist for Massage & Bodywork magazine and is the author of Table Lessons: Insights in the Practice of Massage Therapy (2011), and The Mystery of Pain (2013).
