We’ve had to adjust this year’s plans for an in-person School Forum, but make sure to join us for some Forum-worthy topics via our new ABMP Friday Forum Series: Online Edition!

We’re kicking off this new series with a focus on “A Call to Courage in Times of Adversity.” After all, nothing creates a call for courageous leadership more than a pandemic! From turning massage education delivery models upside down to staying present during a nation’s cry for social justice, these are incredibly tough times for everyone, schools included.

Join ABMP and Amy Andrews McMaster for our two-part series using the work of Brené Brown from her latest New York Times best seller, Dare to Lead. Amy is a leadership consultant and a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator who masterfully inspires brave leadership skills incorporating Brené Brown’s research and tools for courageous leadership. Just what today’s “new normal” requires!

We look forward to sharing this inspirational and meaningful information with you during our Friday Forum Series: Online Edition! Make sure to register for each event you’d like to attend below. You will receive a separate email confirmation and meeting link for each meeting registration.

Bonus! In addition to our school series, we’ll have a special session with Amy for your students! The description is below, and we'll be updating our registration options soon.

In Part One on September 25, Amy will apply Brené Brown’s courageous leadership research to manage the ongoing school challenges during COVID-19. Come prepared to recharge with tools that increase resiliency, creativity, and courage through vulnerability among leadership, staff, and students.

In Part Two on October 2, Amy will apply Brené Brown’s courageous leadership research and tools for creating a safe environment by leaning into tough conversations. She’ll share tips and wisdom for choosing courage over comfort when it comes to keeping communication channels open when addressing racial inequality, general staff and student issues, or even COVID-19 protocol concerns. We’re excited to bring you these meaningful tools that can apply to any area of your life!

In addition, we will have a one-day, free presentation for your students that will include the same messages, but tailored to their school experience.
