2020 ABMP CE Summit: Connection. Education. Inspiration.

Connect with your massage community and leaders in the profession online at the 2020 ABMP CE Summit: Connection. Education. Inspiration! This virtual education experience addresses a wide variety of topics to share timely and valuable information to enrich your practice and life. Don’t miss this opportunity to interact with the presenters live online, learn tools to help navigate this unique time, and connect virtually with your massage and bodywork community. This event—including 9 hours of CE—is free for everyone in the profession at www.abmp.com/summit! One free event registration gives you access to all of the presentations.

The full schedule is available below, and here we are highlighting the Thursday, October 22 presentation “Balancing the Shoulder: Practical Clinic” with Tom Myers. This course provides four complete mini sessions, from BodyReading (visual assessment) to treatment strategy to technique. Learn techniques for balancing the myofascia of the shoulders, arms, and hands from Anatomy Trains author Tom Myers. Human arms require a complex equation of stability versus mobility to balance correctly on the rib cage and spine. Problems in the shoulders can, over time, travel down into the arms and hands or up into the neck and jaw. Learn to recognize “ideal” and compensated patterns and how to tie them into the story of the rest of the body. Learn to really “see” what work needs to be done to create lasting results for your clients.

I had to stop after the live broadcast was over.  How do I get the quiz to get my Ceu's?  Do I have to wait until Friday?

Belinda, Yes, if a quiz is not completed on the day of the live event, your next opportunity will be Friday when the courses are uploaded to the ABMP Education Center.

Hi there. Its 1 minute to start this thursday morning and I cannot get on. Does it start dead on time?Is there something i'm not doing?

Your personal link will be abmp.live/<<your ID Number>> and from that page you will hit a big blue button to launch the summit. Email me at jed@abmp.com and I'd be happy to help find your ID number if you don't have it.

Hi, I had opened the quiz for Tom Meyers' seminar but then the page closed?

Can I have the link to the quiz opened again?

Thanks!

Jen, If you already activated the quiz, you should be able to go back to your player page (or refresh it) at abmp.live/<<your ID>> and re-gain quiz access. If that doesn't work, the courses with quizzes will be available starting Friday. Please email me at jed@abmp.com if I can help.

had to stop the video due to work, can i catch up and take the exam?

Josephine, If you missed part of the course, all of the Summit CE courses will be added to the ABMP Education Center after the event (on Friday, 10/23) for ABMP members to view anytime and earn free CE! Non-members may purchase the courses and CE for $30/course.
