Teaching Massage Webinar Series
Teaching Pathology with Ruth Werner

In the new textbook Teaching Massage: Fundamental Principles in Adult Education for Massage Program Instructors, Ruth Werner, noted author and educator writes, “Massage educators have a daunting task: how do they provide enough information about massage in the context of pathology so that their students can maintain public safety, but not overload them with so many terrifying facts that they run screaming into the night?” Ruth will join Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals in a webinar for massage schools and instructors that answers this and other questions about teaching pathology.

This webinar will:
  • Identify general goals of a pathology course.
  • Discuss common challenges of teaching pathology.
  • Define key elements for teaching effective pathology courses.
  • Provide important topics for a pathology curriculum.
  • Share practical tips for bringing pathology content to life for students.
