Step 12: Selling Gift Certificates Online
The clients who already love you know the value of regular bodywork—why not make it easy for them to share the gift with their friends and family? Online gift certificate sales allow you to offer clients a chance to purchase gift sessions at their own convenience, without requiring an in-person visit to do so. When the holidays are coming up, there's no better time to have instant gift certificate sales right through your website, especially for last-minute gifts! They make it super easy to set up your account, and when you log in for the first time they'll even walk you through the whole process in just 5 easy steps:
Once you get set up with The Gift Card Cafe, log in to your account and select "Cart link code" on the left-hand side under Settings:
They give you all sorts of different options for adding a gift certificate sales link to your site, including a nice button to catch the eye of your site visitors:
Once you have your gift certificate deal set up the way you want and your preferred button style picked out, copy the code and head back to the ABMP Website Builder. Just like when we did the online scheduling button, you have two choices for where you could add the gift certificate sales button on your site: either just on the Gift Certificates page that your website starts out with, or in the Specials box so it appears on every page of your site.
To add it just on the Gift Certificates page, click on "Manage Pages" on the left-hand side, navigate to your Gift Certificates page, and look for the field where you can plug in your button code:
Simply paste in your code, hit Save & Publish, and you're all set to go!
If you'd rather put the button in your Specials box so it shows up on every page of your site, click Set Profile on the left side and use the Source Code option to add the code into your Specials Box:
