Hawaii 3/7/07 3/9/05 9/27/02 3/7/07 The Power of Touch – Making a Difference in Hawaii The Massage Therapists Association of Hawaii (MATAH), in conjunction with ABMP and the AMTA – Hawaii Chapter, is holding it’s 12th Annual Legislative Massage Awareness Day (LMAD). All volunteers must have current professional liability insurance and submit a Participation Application. If you are unable to attend the event but would like to volunteer or participate in some other way, please contact the Event Coordinators below. Although students are not able to participate as therapists, this is an excellent opportunity for those wanting to learn more about massage in the state of Hawaii to volunteer in another capacity. This is a good opportunity to exchange ideas and techniques in preparation for the LMAD event. The training will be held at his office located near the entrance of the Hawaii Athletic Club at 432 Keawe Street, Honolulu, HI 96813. RSVP for this event by contacting Dustin by March 23rd at 808-225-7822. 3/9/05 NOTICE TO HAWAII MEMBERS The Massage Therapists Association of Hawaii (MATAH) is holding its 10 Annual Legislative Massage Awareness Day (LMAD) in coalition with the AMTA-Hawaii coalition in Honolulu, Hawaii on the legislative lanais. MATAH would like to recruit all massage therapists with insurance to participate in this worthwhile event, especially therapists involved in workers comp and auto insurance work. Please bring all your own supplies and equipment (no tables). If you are unable to attend but can donate a chair, table top, or volunteer for a phone tree, that would be helpful. The next year promises to be a good one under this leadership. MATAH extends a thank you to the NFB board members who came to the meeting. They need a head count to determine how much food to prepare. MATAH members and guests are invited. Please make it to this event if you came to the August 10th Kaimuki Kanikapila fund raiser.
